About halfway along the route, you reach the Dreimühlenwasserfall in the Mühlenbach valley, which has become a true natural monument due to sintering. But before you reach your destination, you can visit the Niederehe Monastery and Kerpen Castle, which is located on a Dolomite path above the city, along the well-maintained roads. With an unobstructed view over the Eifel landscape, you walk past Berndorf and finally have the opportunity to visit Café Sherlock in Hillesheim and spend the night in the crime hotel - exactly what thriller fans want.
This route starts in Leudersdorf. The official route starts in Mirbach, which makes this route 6 km shorter than the official route.
