Information about the Lengericher Canyon: Rugged rock walls, turquoise blue water, and sparse vegetation give the so-called canyon its special appeal. After the closure of the above-ground limestone quarry in the 1980s, a turquoise blue lake formed at the lowest point of the quarry floor. Visitors can enjoy this extraordinary landscape from three observation platforms. The canyon itself and the surrounding landscape are under nature protection – entry prohibited!
