Firehouse – Fellowship, outdoor life, and coziness all year round

The Fire House is created for presence, outdoor life, and community - a place where both big and small can gather around the fire and feel the tranquility of nature. Here you can light a fire, cook over the embers, tell stories, sing, warm yourself, and enjoy the unique atmosphere that only a fire in nature can create.

The area is designed so that both children and adults can feel safe while being close to nature. The Fire House is located near the nature base and is surrounded by our natural areas with a lake, wildflowers, rich birdlife, and many small animals - perfect surroundings for both short and longer stays, outdoor life, and nature experiences all year round.

There is room for everything from stick bread, communal dining, and learning processes to scouting activities, nature education, and quiet moments under the starry sky.

With easy access to the footpath that leads directly to Tracks in the Landscape, it is easy to continue the experience on a hike through the nature area and further towards Bøtø Forest, where one can encounter wild horses and cows.

An atmospheric starting point for both short visits and full days in nature.

For the adventurous, small geocaching "treasures" are also hidden in the area, waiting to be discovered - a fun activity for both children and adults.
