Shelters at Brostedet near Ålum

Brostedet is run by volunteers "Brobyggere" and is established on private land. Booking via their email.

There is a handicap toilet, water tap, fire site with a grill, loading site, fishing piers, wooden paths, and opportunities for fishing, including for signal crayfish. There are really good opportunities for an outing with a packed lunch and enjoying the lovely place.

Most facilities are established with access for all, i.e., friendly for wheelchair users and those with walking difficulties. There is wheelchair access to the wooden piers and 2 fishing piers on the south side of the river, and one can drive to the handicap toilet north of the river. On the south side of the river, there is

access for those with walking difficulties. Only cars with a visible handicap sign may park on the south side, all others park north by the rainwater basin.

If you want to fish, you must have a fishing license (see fisketegn.dk) and additionally pay 20 DKK per day, or 100 DKK per year via QR code on site.

It is possible to reserve a shelter for 200 DKK by contacting brostedet@gmail.com. Follow the information, it is not reserved until confirmed. We will put up a sign with the reservation. Overnight stays cost 40 DKK per adult, also applies even if a reservation has been paid. Shelters are only reserved; you cannot book the site.

All income from fishing and overnight stays goes solely to the development and operation of Brostedet.
