Little Hareskov, campsite with shelter at Gisselfeldengen

At the edge between the meadow and the forest lies a campsite with a shelter. The shelter has 6 rooms and therefore accommodates 18-24 sleeping individuals. The campsite is located on the northeastern part of the meadow, 300-400 meters from Skovlystvej. There is also a primitive toilet, without water, inside the forest edge. Remember to bring your own toilet paper and wet wipes.

In the summer months, water can be fetched from the fire hydrant at Ravnehus (Ravnehusvej 45).

The campsite is intended for larger organized groups, for example, associations, schools, and institutions.

The site can be booked for overnight stays, but no more than 4 overnight stays. Bookings can be made a year in advance at the earliest. With a booking, you must use the campsite before 8 PM; otherwise, you forfeit your priority.

If the site is not booked, it can be used during the day on a "first come, first served" basis.

You will typically be able to gather some firewood around the site, but if you want to ensure dry firewood, you should bring your own dry firewood or charcoal. Preserve the living trees. Remember to extinguish the fire when you leave it.

Motorized vehicles are not allowed to drive to the site, and permission cannot be sought for this.

No trash bins are set up, so remember to bring a trash bag for your waste so you can take it with you when you leave the site. Leave the site as you wish to find it. Follow the instructions on the information sign at the campsite.
