12th century church. La Romànica consists of an architectural complex with three apses decorated with Lombard arches and a square three-story bell tower. The building has a Latin cross plan, with a single nave featuring a pointed barrel vault. La Romànica is famous for its remarkable set of mural paintings – which depict the Pantocrator and scenes from the Old and New Testament – one of the most important that can be visited on-site in Catalonia.
