The Costa Vasca is a coastal zone on the Bay of Biscay in northern Spain and southwestern France. The coast runs from the cape Punta Covarón in Muskiz to the mouth of the Adour. Some well-known beaches are the Playa de La Concha, Playa de Fuenterrabía and Playa de Zarauz. The coast is characterized by sharp cliffs, intersected by rías. Further inland you will find a green hilly landscape with the Pyrenees in the background.
