
El Castell de Rocabruna is a fortress in the town of Camprodon. It is a castle of national cultural importance. The castle dominates a hill surrounded by cliffs. It offers visitors a very interesting view of the Pyrenees and the Alta Garrotxa. The castle dates back to the tenth century. Access to the castle is very difficult, because the hill is completely surrounded by forest. Below the hill passes the GR-11. It is said that a gold bull is buried in the castle.
