Saint Stephen of the Wolf

Sant Esteve del Llop is a set of a hermitage and a farmhouse in the municipality of Darnius included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.
Farmhouse located about two and a half kilometers from the village, with a rectangular floor, a ground floor and a floor. It is oriented to noon. To the west it has an added volume or body that is used as a barn and has a two-sided roof supported by wooden cairats. This, on its low plain, consists of three bays perpendicular to the main façade that are covered with pedruscall vaults. As in other farmhouses in Darnius, access to the apartment is exterior, and is done by means of a stone staircase above a pedruscall porch. The farmhouse is of remarkable rusticity, already evident in the apparatus of the walls itself and in the elementality of its architectural scheme.
