Arab baths

The Arab Baths of Torres Torres are located in the Plaza de la Iglesia number 5 of Torres Torres, Valencian Community, Spain. They are located next to the population, associated with the Séquia Major de Sagunt that borders the old urban center.

The covered enclosure of the Baths is a rectangular plant that contains three rectangular rooms also covered with vaults, arranged in parallel and in north-south orientation, known by the names of cold, warm and hot. The entrance to the Baths was located in the north. From the lobby there was access through a semicircular door to the cold room. The cold room is the most austere of the three. The warm room is the one with the largest surface and width. It is divided into three parts by means of two semicircular arches made with bricks, which form two lateral alcoves raised one step with respect to the central space. The third room is the hot room and has an area of about 6.80 x 2.42 m, and is heated by an underground chamber where hot air is injected.
