Vila-rodona Forge

The Farga de Vila-rodona is a protected monument classified as a cultural asset of local interest in the municipality of Vila-rodona.

The old forge is located on the outskirts of Vila-rodona, next to the Gaià River. The complex presents a roughly rectangular closed structure with buildings on two of its sides. A fence delimits the undeveloped space and defines an interior patio. Access to the main block is double and can be made either through a small door opened in the wall or through a large rectangular door made in the part of the fence adjacent to the building. It is a one-story building with two floors, painted, with a gabled roof. At the back of this block, painted, there is a three-story structure with one floor, also with a gabled roof, which completely occupies the second side of the rectangle. The predominant material of the construction is stone.
