Ermita de San Antonio - Ubrique - Andalusia

The Hermitage of San Antonio is the oldest temple in Ubrique. It dates from the early 16th century.

It was originally a hermitage (hermitage) and later, with the reform in the 17th century, was used as a parish church.
This temple consists of a single nave covered by a barrel vault and a half orange vault. The exterior is characterized by the beautiful belfry , which has become a monumental landmark and later the symbol of Ubrique .

On the main altarpiece is the statue of San Antonio de Padua from 1965.

There are niches on either side of the main altar. In the left niche is the image of the Reclining Christ and in the right niche is the statue of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.
