El Cintillo en Aguas Nuevas viewpoint is located in the municipality of Benaocaz, in the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park.
From this strategic point you can enjoy a beautiful view of the south-west of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, whose landscape of great contrasts is largely influenced by the rainfall and the calcareous soil.
On the left rises the Sierra de Ubrique , on the other side of which is the village of the same name.
From this point, with a little imagination, you can discover how two peaks form the silhouette of a saddle . This is the name given to this mountain range, the Sierra de La Silla. Next to it is the perfectly cone-shaped Monte del Higuerón de Tavizna , with a dense Mediterranean scrub, with an abundance of carob trees (Ceratonia siliqua).
At our feet is a Roman road , proof of the presence of man in these places since the beginning of time, and a strategic place for communication between villages.
