The Hermitage of San Benito de Setenil de las Cellers is a small church in the historic center of this town.
The date of construction is unknown, but the current configuration is due to renovations in the late 19th and 20th centuries.
The facade is classically inspired, ending in a small bell tower and recalling the neoclassical style due to the symmetrical layout and the distribution of the pilasters topped by a pediment.
Inside, the central altar stands out, housing the venerated image of Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno . This belongs to the brotherhood popularly known as "Los Negros". Other processional images of this confraternity are also venerated in this hermitage, such as that of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, which is carried in procession on Good Friday together with a statue of Saint John the Evangelist behind the Pas de Jesús Natzarè (Jesus of Nazareth). . ).
The image of Our Lady of Solitude is also venerated there, as well as a naked cross from which hangs a white shroud that is carried in a procession on the evening of Holy Saturday.
