The Town Hall building is entered via a semi-circular staircase of pink limestone .
The facade, due to the various restorations , is a mix of styles, with the classic line predominating.
The exact year of construction is unknown, although it is known to have been rebuilt in the early 19th century . The reason for this lack of knowledge is the fact that on May 16th, 1810, Napoleonic troops razed Ubrique to the ground and burned much of the city's archives, belongings and furniture and with it a large part of the history of Ubrique.
In the second half of the 20th century, after the purchase of the old Cañailla inn, the town hall was enlarged, restoring both buildings while preserving their architecture. In 1973 a series of works were carried out and blocks of Roman ashes were discovered in the basement.
On the main facade of the Town Hall is the Charles III Fountain , better known as the Fuente de los Cuatro Caños .
