The Rosary Chapel (Dos de Mayo) is a recent building. Especially if we compare it with the rest of the churches in the city center. Although this chapel is located outside the city walls, it is part of the heart of the city, just a few meters from Seville Cathedral and the bullring. The construction of the Maestranza Theater, to which it is attached, led to the demolition of the temple that replaced it in the late 1980s. Therefore, its construction was completed in 1992.
The part of the church's dome affected by the theater has been preserved. The building has a square tower that stands out for its upper battlements. The doorway on the left has a neo-Baroque parapet with two bells in ocher tones, which stand out against the white of the facades.
Next to this entrance are two ceramic altarpieces depicting the most important figures of the Hermandad de las Aguas.
