GR-7. Stage 08. Sanctuary of the Miracle - Sanctuary of the Virgin of Pinós

Stage 08 of the GR-7, which connects the Sanctuary of the Miracle with the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Pinós, offers a unique experience in the heart of Catalonia. This sanctuary houses the Monastery of the Miracle, a Benedictine monastery that is part of a religious complex dating back centuries. Currently, this monastery is home to a community of four monks who depend on the Monastery of Montserrat, adding an air of serenity and contemplation to the environment. Along the route, walkers have the opportunity to visit the Church of the Miracle, the third temple built in the meadow of Bassadòria. This sacred place is famous for the appearance of the Virgin that took place on August 3, 1458, when two shepherd brothers claimed to have seen her.
