Marlemont is a French commune, located in the Ardennes department in the Grand Est region. To the southwest of the commune lies what is known as the Marlemont hill, which reaches an elevation of 296 meters. This hill overlooks the surrounding area. This summit is indeed one of the southernmost parts of the Ardennes massif. Beyond the hill, towards Reims, the terrain is relatively flat. Thus, from the summit, we can see the city of Rethel located 30 km away.
