Russ is a French municipality with 1,240 inhabitants in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region. It belongs to the Molsheim arrondissement and the Mutzig Canton.
The town is located in the Breusch Valley in the Vosges. The municipality includes the districts of Les Bruyères, Steinbach, and Schwarzbach. Neighboring municipalities of Russ are Wisches to the north, Muhlbach-sur-Bruche to the northeast, Grendelbruch to the east, Barembach to the south, and Schirmeck to the west.
