Larrau, in French, is a locality and commune located in the department of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, in the region of Aquitaine and in the historic Basque-French territory of Sola.
The commune is traversed by the Gave de Larrau river, a tributary of the Saison. Geographically, Larrau is where the intersection between the northern parallel 43 and the meridian 1 west of Greenwich takes place, according to the Degree Confluence Project. The south of the commune borders Spain.
