Cobrieux

Cobrieux is a French commune located in the Nord department, in the Hauts-de-France region. The climate that characterizes the commune was classified in 2010 as a "degraded oceanic climate of the plains of the Center and North," according to the climate typology of France, which then counted eight major types of climates in the mainland. In 2020, the commune falls under the type "altered oceanic climate" in the classification established by Météo-France, which now only includes five major types of climates in the mainland in its initial approach. This is a transitional zone between the oceanic climate, mountain climate, and semi-continental climate. The temperature differences between winter and summer increase with the distance from the sea. Rainfall is lower than by the seaside, except near the reliefs.
