Hauville

Hauville is located on the Roumois plateau, in the extreme north of the department. The Brotonne forest borders the municipality to the north. The Seine River passes 2 kilometers away. Hauville is situated about 35 kilometers from Rouen. The A13 and A28 motorways are 6 km away. The climate that characterizes the municipality is classified, in 2010, as "altered oceanic climate," according to the climate typology of France which then counted eight major types of climates in the metropolitan area. In 2020, the municipality fell under the same type of climate in the classification established by Météo-France, which now includes, in its first approach, only five major types of climates in the metropolitan area. It is a transition zone between the oceanic climate, the mountain climate, and the semi-continental climate. The temperature differences between winter and summer increase with the distance from the sea. Precipitation is lower than along the coast, except near the reliefs.
