In Beaurevoir, long occupied by the Germans as it was located to the east of the Hindenburg Line, the 2nd Australian Division launched an attack on October 3, 1918. Two days later, on October 5, it would be captured by the 25th Division. Thus, the British cemetery of Beaurevoir contains 290 soldiers (including 46 unknown). A significant majority of the soldiers resting there died during the assault on the commune at the beginning of October 1918. Special memorials for 4 soldiers believed to be buried at this location are also established there. After the armistice, 70 graves from the German extension of the communal cemetery were transferred there.
