The Thur is a river in the French department of Haut-Rhin, Alsace. The river originates at the Rainkopf. At Kruth, a dam has been built in the river, creating a reservoir, Lake Wildenstein. The Thur flows through Saint-Amarin, Thann, Vieux-Thann, and Cernay. It empties into the Ill near Ensisheim. A tributary, called Vieille Thur, bends northward and flows into the Lauch.
