The puy de Clierzou, or Cliersou, is a volcano in the chain of Puys, in the Massif central, aged 11,000 years. It is a dome reaching an altitude of 1,199 meters in the municipality of Orcines. The puy de Clierzou is located about 10 km west of Clermont-Ferrand. It is surrounded to the east by the puy Pariou, to the south by the Petit Suchet, to the southwest by the Grand Suchet, to the west by the puy de Côme, and to the north by the puy de Fraisse.
