Discover this astonishing musical heritage in St. Stephen's Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic art: its strikingly beautiful nave reaches a record height and conceals a surprising swallow's nest suspended organ (known as a triforium organ), built in 1537 by Jehan of Trier and rebuilt in 1981 by Marc Garnier, according to the Renaissance aesthetic of the Netherlands. Also worth mentioning are the exceptional instrument of European importance of Saint Martin (Nollet 1777) and the symphonic organ of Notre Dame (Mutin 1903, in a Nollet case from 1734). The neo-gothic woodwork is made of varnished oak; the front pipes are made of pewter, with round-headed escutcheons and ears.
