Another way of looking at the Maginot Line: a shelter for the men who have committed themselves to protecting the country from the enemy. A surface shelter with two basements as barracks. Located in the middle of the countryside, the structure has no heavy weaponry. It provides rest for troops based between fortified works, and can accommodate around 100 men. The walls are decorated with drawings made by German troops during the 1944 occupation. Open by appointment only (minimum 10 people), or during Heritage Days.
