Dive into the heart of a paleontological site that has been classified as a National Nature Reserve and protected by a building since 2011.
At the end of the Jurassic, the Crayssac region was by the sea. As the tides rolled in, the mud deposits on this beach recorded the most subtle of footprints.
150 million years later, the traces of this past are revealed. And so begins the study of the footprints to identify the culprits. Find out whether they walked on two or four legs. To estimate their size, and for some, to find out how fast they were moving. Each of these "Jurassic" investigations brings to life one of the characters from this beach.
