Panorama depuis la vierge du mai

1.84 m. high, the statue is one of the 3 most important Virgins of the Vosges. After having returned to the church in 1956, the project to see it return to the mountain of Cuchot (551 m altitude) was completed on 29.05.2010. The site for this copy is located at the junction of the two valleys of the Moselle and Moselotte; it dominates the plain by more than 150 m, like a balcony. To complete the site, an orientation table has been installed near the statue. It allows to enjoy a magnificent panorama and to rest before starting the descent.
Access: Take the rue du Cuchot behind the restaurant Le Karélian and follow the signs for 2km to reach the rue du Rapré and then the forest.
