Château des Brasseurs

Built in 1885 to plans drawn up by departmental architect François Clasquin, the Château has been home to the Town Hall since 1979, preserving the evidence of a prestigious way of life.
Surrounded by a vast wooded park, this magnificent Château and its outbuildings invite you to immerse yourself in the world of the Trivier-Champion family, creators of the "La Lorraine" brewery
"La Lorraine" brewery, which reached the peak of its production between 1890 and 1920 and made its owners very wealthy.
This magnificent building, a true symbol of social success, showcased the brewery?s economic success. The particularly sumptuous entrance was designed to impress visitors, suppliers and customers alike. In an elaborate wooden showcase, made for the 1889 Universal Exhibition (the age of the Eiffel Tower), were displayed "relics" representative of the company?s great period of prosperity.
Today, this splendid residence has become the Xertigny Town Hall.
The interior still features elaborate woodwork, gilding and marble? This living space still exudes authenticity.
