CHATEAU DES BRASSEURS

Built from 1885 on the plans of the departmental architect François Clasquin, the Château has housed, since 1979, the services of the town hall and has preserved the evidence of a prestigious way of life.
Surrounded by a vast wooded park, this magnificent Château and its outbuildings await you to immerse yourself in the world of the Trivier-Champion family, creators of the "La Lorraine" brewery
"La Lorraine" brewery, which reached the peak of its production between 1890 and 1920 and made its owners rich.
This magnificent building, a true symbol of social success, allowed the brewery's economic success to be highlighted. The entrance, particularly sumptuous, had for role to impress the visitors, suppliers and customers of the brewery. In a wooden showcase, made for the 1889 World's Fair (the age of the Eiffel Tower), were arranged "relics" representative of the great period of prosperity of the company.
Nowadays, this splendid residence has become the Town Hall of Xertigny.
The interior has kept its woodwork, gilding and marble... This place of life still breathes all its authenticity.
