The hidden treasure of the Causse de Rocamadour. Shaped by water and time, the Grotte des Carbonnières presents a great diversity of concretions where stalactites, stalagmites, draperies, columns and fistulas rub shoulders. It offers an exceptional underground landscape with a ceiling traversed by remarkable roots and walls of contrasting colours lined with eccentrics. The 350 metres of galleries are subdued by 100% LED lighting which sublimates the millennia-old concretions and gives the Grotto a fairy-tale atmosphere. At the bend in the gallery, a sound and light show full of poetry and harmony, a magical discovery of the power of water.
