This English style park of 28 ha with its alleys lined mainly with lime trees is a real haven of peace in the heart of the city. Magnificent trees are planted here (cedar, Douglas, araucaria, purple beech, chestnut trees). Some 25 baskets or beds are covered with mosaiculture in the summer. Also admire its bandstand from 1863 and its weather station from 1892.
The entrance to the Parc du Cours is located on Place Foch, near the Prefecture.
