Plaines cultivées de Monflanquin

The agricultural plains around Monflanquin are of particular interest to the competent ornithologist who will be able to detect the presence of discrete species typical of these anthropogenic environments.
Dominating the whole of the agricultural plain, the medieval village of Monflanquin is sized on a peach tree that can be visited to look for barn swallows and window swallows or the white-fronted robin that nest in the village.
From here one can explore the vast expanses to the south and east of the village, each plot depending on the year offering interesting perspectives.
The soulcie sparrow is very present on the plateau, as well as the harrier St martin. Middle-owl, wheat quail or owl will be to be looked for especially around the Débalade south of the village.
