The Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park is full of a small vernacular built heritage which may be linked to agricultural life (mills, forges, etc.) or domestic life (bread ovens, wash houses, etc.). A few steps from the centre of Vert in the direction of Labrit, stop on the small bridge to admire the wash house on the Bernin.
Protected by a double-pitched tile roof, one of which is shorter than the other, the washhouse on the Bernin is set on the bank of a small stream which has its source in Vert. In the past, women used to come here to rinse their clothes. Today, enjoy this charming place, in the heart of the pine and oak forest.
