The setting is idyllic, with a shady garden in summer, and the banks of the canal and the emerald Sarre attracting crowds of visitors who come to sample the small-scale catering based on local and seasonal products - tartines, quiches, salads and aperitif boards, home-made pastries and cakes - accompanied as they should be by craft beers, top-of-the-range wines and special coffees, teas and so on.
