Plage des Hirondelles

A family beach, relatively unknown, where locals like to get together for a chat. A special, charming atmosphere, a little out of time, underpinned by the presence of the villa des Hirondelles and its 1900s style. Swimming is possible at high tide. Nearby, a small oyster-farming port with shacks selling oysters to take away or sample, and a shack selling fish from the Bassin. When the tide is high at the end of the day, boaters come to moor here to pick up oysters to take away on the boat or enjoy on the spot. In summer, a sailing club is set up on the beach for courses, catamaran or hobbie cat lessons.
