Cinéma Lux

Dating from the early 50s, the LUX cinema maintained a regular activity until the 80s. The activity will then become sporadic until it is abandoned in the early 90s.

In 1999, a group of enthusiasts restarted the activity of the LUX cinema. A renovation took place in 2008, coordinated by the municipality of Cadillac, which had become the owner of the building. The rapid increase in admissions over the years convinced the group of the need to expand the LUX in order to adapt to the new challenges of the sector. A second room with 93 seats was created in 2018.

Classified as Art & Essai with more than 75% of titles labeled, the LUX develops throughout the year an ambitious animation policy to serve the works. For this, the cinema relies on a network of loyal or renewed partners to create a synergy around the events.
