As an "Upcycling" designer, I assemble and make light sculptures and decorative objects from recycled materials.
My inspiration comes from the objects themselves, found at garage sales, "object graveyards" and donations.
My work is charged with the values of my civil and political commitment. It is a playful and poetic critique of the excesses of our society: robotics and consumerism.
A graduate of a graphic arts school (advertising graphics, illustration), the techniques I employ are derived from DIY, sculpture and painting, depending on the materials and objects used (wood, metal, plastic).
