Als "Upcycling"-ontwerper assembleer en maak ik lichtsculpturen en decoratieve objecten van gerecyclede materialen.
Mijn inspiratie komt van de voorwerpen zelf, gevonden op garageverkopen, "voorwerpenkerkhoven" en donaties.
Mijn werk is geladen met de waarden van mijn burgerlijke en politieke betrokkenheid. Het is een speelse en poëtische kritiek op de excessen van onze maatschappij: robotica en consumentisme.
Ik heb grafische vormgeving gestudeerd (reclamegrafiek, illustratie) en mijn technieken zijn gebaseerd op doe-het-zelven, beeldhouwen en schilderen, afhankelijk van de materialen en voorwerpen die ik gebruik (hout, metaal, plastic).
