Le Mas d'Arjac

La Maison Longue du Mas d'Arjac is a beautiful country house situated in a beautiful and tranquil setting in the southwest of France.

Within the Midi-Pyrénées region, Arjac is situated where the three departments of Aveyron, Lot and Tarn et Garonne meet and so this hamlet is an ideal base for those who want to explore these beautiful landscapes as well as for those who just want to relax by the pool.
Most of the buildings at Mas d'Arjac date from the eighteenth century. The keystone above the door of the Maison Longue is dated 1738, and the Mas itself is said to be even older. The building has remained intact until its recent renovation by local craftsmen who used only traditional materials and methods to ensure that none of its charm and beauty was lost. The house has retained all its original beams and old stone sinks and fireplaces. This has not stopped us from installing modern touches such as underfloor heating and insulation which keep the house warm in winter and cool in summer.

The Long House is built of stone and wood and contains a living room, kitchen/dining room, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, a bedroom with a king-size bed (or two single beds) and a bedroom with three double beds on the first floor which has recently been completely renovated. In addition, the Yellow Room, accessed by a small flight of 6 steps to the rear of the house, offers a double room with a king-size bed (or two single beds) with its own bathroom (shower, washbasin and WC).
There is a garden with table and chairs in front of Maison Longue and a lawn at the rear, but the gardens and fields of Mas d'Arjac are open to your curiosity.

Guests have exclusive use of the pool (16m x 4m with a unique depth of 1.6m) and its terrace between 9am and 10pm.

You are welcome to use the laundry room below the owner's house.

WIFI access is unlimited and free except during thunderstorms. There are French and British channels on the television as well as DVD players.
