Gilder and restorer of antique furniture, objects and frames, since 1993.
The Maysounabe workshop carries out restorations of objects of Art and Antiquities (gilded wood and polychromy), according to the methods defined by the activity of conservation-restoration :
- Adapted treatments of the supports.
- Reversibility of any intervention.
- Ancient techniques of colour application and various processes from gilding to leaf gilding (22 carat gold).
Moreover, the study of the historical characteristics of the object, as well as its integration into its environment after restoration, are also part of my skills and guide my work.
