Located only two kilometres from the pretty walled town of Navarrenx, the municipality of Méritein has two picnic areas.
The area of La Fontaine is located on the edge of the hamlet road on the Way of Saint James of Compostela, under an oak tree, and is composed of a round table with wrought iron benches. The second area of the Maison Pour Tous is situated on the edge of the Chemin de la Biasse on the Way of Saint Jacques de Compostelle as well, and is composed of a wooden table with benches in the shade of the oaks of the Marais with a beautiful view of the Pyrenees.
In the peace and quiet and with nature around you, you will spend a pleasant time with family or friends during your lunch breaks.
