Here at the foot of the Piage cliff, a prehistoric site excavated since the 1960s has demonstrated the coexistence of Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons. Prehistoric rock habitats, medieval troglodyte settlements, and a contemporary mill can be found side by side on the site, which has been designated as a sensitive natural area. The duckboard set up on the Relinquière river allows visitors to discover the ecological wealth of the wetland that was formed in contact with this watercourse. This mosaic of environment with its procession of species is remarkable.
