Nestling at the foot of the Lastours motte castrale, where the church now stands, the garden links the historic elements of the motte, the church and the fortified castle. The garden has been designed to evoke the spirit of a medieval garden, with a contemporary take on the themes and cultures of the 10th to 15th centuries. It is made up of small walled gardens: the orchard, the oseraie, the bouquetier garden, the simple garden, the berry garden, the rose garden, the vineyard, the cereal plot, the textile plant plot... Take a break in the shade of the apple tree on the chestnut benches designed by Alain Dupasquier, a passionate local artist, and be amazed by the magical plants, medicinal herbs and forgotten vegetables. Whether you're a novice or an enthusiast, a botanical journey through time awaits you...
