MUSÉE DU TEXTILE DES VOSGES

A visit to Ventron is not to be missed. This old weaving mill, with its characteristic architecture of the first factories of the textile industry, operated from 1855 with 50 mechanical looms operated by 32 workers. A succession of machines allows the visitor to understand the transformation of cotton from bale to thread and from thread to all kinds of fabrics. Located at a high altitude, the Vosges textile museum is an ideal place to discover the Vosges mountains in a different way.
