La Méca is the House of the creative and cultural economy in New Aquitaine. It hosts the cultural agencies of the region dedicated to the performing arts, books, cinema and the FRAC Aquitaine.
The Méca building is an extraordinary work, designed by the Danish architect Bjarke Ingels. Located on the quays of Paludate, the building rises 37 meters high and offers, from its open-air terrace, one of the most impressive views of Bordeaux.
The building, whose use is dedicated to professionals, offers the public an outdoor space for urban walks and a panoramic terrace
The FRAC's exhibition spaces are open to the public (Wednesday to Sunday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm - one Thursday evening per month until 9:00 pm).
