A fantastic viewpoint in the heart of a protected area, the belvedere is a must for any walk or hike in the Barrois quarry. The quarry is classified as a ZNIEFF, where protected species find refuge, and is both peaceful and grandiose: variegated sandstone rubs shoulders with the blue of ponds and the emerald of wildflower meadows. The surrounding Warndt forest is classified Natura 2000. For the whole of 2026, the Carrière Barrois will be undergoing construction work, which will be closed to the public.
