Description

De belvedère, een fantastisch uitkijkpunt in het hart van een beschermd gebied, is een must voor elke wandeling of trektocht in de steengroeve van Barrois. De groeve is geklasseerd als ZNIEFF, waar beschermde diersoorten hun toevluchtsoord vinden, en is zowel vredig als grandioos: het bonte zandsteen schuurt tegen het blauw van de vijvers en het smaragdgroen van de wilde bloemenweiden. Het omliggende Warndt-bos is een Natura 2000-gebied. Gedurende 2026 zal Carrière Barrois gesloten zijn voor het publiek.
