Jean-Pierre AMOUYAL is a visual artist in the tradition of geometric and conceptual abstraction.
Jean-Pierre AMOUYAL, born in July 1943, began his apprenticeship in painting at the age of 13: the guidance of a parent who was a painter and art teacher was the trigger for this vocation.
His early sketches reveal his attraction to geometric forms, and his first works were exhibited at the Galerie des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1966.
Various activities subsequently led him to travel to many countries, where he observed the invigorating influence of modernity.
This universally present modernity confirms him in a field of pictorial research that helps maintain a good balance between art and architecture,
